The Van’s RV-12iS burns about 3.7 to 4.0 gallons per hour, compared with roughly 9.0 gallons per hour in a traditional four-seat trainer. Fuel is one of the largest costs in flight training, and that difference is a large part of why we can offer a lower tuition.
Our launch fleet will be a single aircraft type. Flying the same aircraft from your first lesson through your checkride keeps training consistent and maintenance planning simple.
Each aircraft will have dual Garmin G3X Touch displays, moving-map navigation and a two-axis autopilot, so you train on the kind of modern avionics you will see throughout your career.
